Indian Trail offers a bevy of can’t-miss things to do; if you are planning to visit, some of the best attractions are as follows.

1. Crooked Creek Park

Crooked Creek Park is the premier tournament complex and the best park in the Charlotte area. The kid’s playground area has a big cabin themed playground with 4 slides, a rope bridge and a tunnel with little critters that the kids can touch and see welded to the playground equipment, a number of climbing logs, and a balance beam. The musical area has some striped instruments with hammers and drums producing funny jungle sounding music. They also have a swing where an adult and their baby can swing together.
The zip line has a bell seat on a rope where the kids can sit, hold the rope and go for a ride. This park has nice baseball and soccer fields, a destination playground, disc golf course, walking trails, several picnic areas, an outdoor exercise gym and a reservable shelter. The complex is great, the only negative point is you need a pass to get into the dog park; you have to pay to use it.

2. Sun Valley 14

This is a clean and multi-screen modern theater with a great concession area. The prices are cheaper than the local Regal owned theaters. The seats are comfortable and lean back, the sound system is great, and there are 3D options. On Tuesdays, all their movies run for one price (6 USD). They also offer specials on popcorn and drinks on Tuesdays.
They also have a great rewards program. You can use them on opening weekend, unlike some other rewards programs. They have a loyalty card too and once you rack up enough purchases, you get a free movie. Having food venues close by make this theater a nice place to go for nightly entertainment.
